An international student package prepared by Northeast Helicopters will include the students I20 Visa, and the 1901 document. The student will be guided with detailed instructions by Northeast Helicopters through all procedures, including TSA (Transportation Security Administration), the fingerprint process, and to be prepared for what to expect at your Embassy. Upon arrival, the student will be met by a Northeast Helicopter representative at the Bradley International Airport located in Windsor Locks, CT.
The Flight Training Program consists of the five ratings/licenses described below. Each rating/license includes; books, supplies, tests/exam fees, fuel, landing fees and the appropriate state sales taxes. All training is conducted under Part 141, with our Northeast Helicopters FAA approved syllabi.
The aircraft that Northeast Helicopters utilizes for training are the Robinson R22 and the Schweizer 300 CBi.
A total of 200 hours of flight instruction, and 200 hours of ground instruction will be provided upon completion. If additional flight hours are necessary to achieve minimums in your country, a scholarship program is offered to those who qualify.
