Using your Post 9/11 GI Bill for Flight Training

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs This is a great resource for beginning your career in aviation. The Post 9/11 program has been revamped by the VA recently and continues to be an excellent program


If you are interested in using your Post 9/11 GI Bill for flight training, you are eligible for up to $37,633.62 in benefits. Whether you are new to the aviation industry, looking for a career change or if you are already a pilot and would like to add on to existing ratings, the Post 9/11 GI Bill can help.


Note: With the recent changes to the Post 9/11 program, it is still a better program than the old Montgomery GI Bill. In addition NEH is one of the few flight schools still able to offer Sallie Mae, a career as a professional helicopter pilot is certainly attainable.
